2026 Summer CSA

Summer on MDI is certainly a beautiful site to behold! What better way to celebrate the season of plenty then by filling your fridge with delicious local meats and eggs raised right here on the island! 

This CSA will feature a taste of all the farm has to offer in the summer season and comes with a variety of order options. Please read the full descriptions found below carefully before placing your order with us. As always you can reach out via email or phone with additional questions.

The Fine Details:

A deposit equal to the full season share price required to register for this CSA. This can be paid online or via check. If you'd like to establish a payment plan let us know.

This CSA share must be picked up in person at the farm 538 Norway Drive Bar Harbor ME 04609 on its designated pickup days. CSA shares can not be shipped.

The exact contents of each CSA package are unique and depend upon the seasonal availability of farm products. Additional items beyond those in the share can be purchased in person at any pickup or by utilizing the self serve farm stand. We do not allow further customization of the share beyond the options listed below.

The exception to this no substitution policy is religious or dietary restrictions.

Summer CSA Share Options:

The Weekly Share- An 11 week Share $660  ($60 per week)

Weekly pickup on Thursdays 3-5pm (June 18th- August 27th 2026) 

Pickup Dates: 6/18, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20, 8/27

What's included:

• 1 dozen organic eggs
•  1# of sausage (rotating varieties)
•  1# of bacon
•  2-4#s of a grilling or skillet cuts such as bone in pork chops, country style pork ribs, lamb chops, lamb ribs. (rotating varieties)

Optional Weekly Add ons:

• An extra dozen organic eggs + $88 ($8 per week)
• A whole organic chicken + $385($35/week)
• 1# ground lamb (available after August 1st 2026, 4 weeks) $180 ($20/week)

The Bi Weekly Share- A 6 week bi weekly share $360 ($60 per week)

Bi Weekly Pickup on Thursdays 3-5pm (June 18th-August 27th 2026)

Pickup Dates: 6/18, 7/2, 7/16, 7/30, 8/13, 8/27

What's included:

• same as weekly share

Optional Add ons:

• An extra dozen eggs +$48 ($8 per week)
• A whole organic chicken +$210 ($35/week)
• 1# ground lamb (available after August 1st 2026,  2 weeks) +$40 ($20/week)

Sourcing:

All products originate from animals born here and all of the Poultry Products (Eggs and Chicken) are processed on farm in our own facility through a state exemption license. All other frozen Meat Products are processed for us at Herring Brothers Meats in Guilford ME (a USDA inspected facility).
